7 hours walk to reach the village school. We took 10 girls from Padma Kanyya School with us to help coach rugby and run school classes
The Background We first visited Nepal in July 2015. The impact of the earthquake is well documented and the loss of life and damage to the infrastructure is all around. What was more sobering is the poverty and conditions which so many live in.
The Inspire Sport & Leadership Programme Over the last 3 years we have worked closely with teachers from the Padma Kanya School in Kathmandu and, in 2018, the Laxmi Pratisthan charity.
We have run the Inspire programme in Kathmandu, Pokhara and, most recently, in Kanda village in the mountainous Chitwan region.
Laxmi Pratisthan Check out this video to see some of the work that we have done to support the incredible charity, Laxmi Pratisthan.
