Jeyapuram

In Jeyapuram, we are supporting one of the women's groups to establish a market garden to supplement income. Also, we are exploring ways to help them develop, market and sell palmera products.

In August, this year, we ran workshops for two of the women’s groups and two groups of young people.

Karadinyanaru

Here we have funded the building of  a new community centre. The building is being used for pre-school and after-school classes as well as for the women's groups to meet.

Konavil

In Konavil, we have funded the refurbishment of a community centre which will also be used for after-school classes. We are supporting five women's groups on market garden and livestock projects and exploring ways to develop, market and sell cocount fibre oroducts.

We are exploring the idea of building some small houses here - for volunteers and also to be used as guest houses.
